Avocado Toast with Poached Eggs
Instructions
- Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
- Mash the avocados in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the mashed avocado evenly on each slice of toasted bread.
- Poach the eggs in simmering water until whites are set but yolks remain runny, about 3-4 minutes.
- Top the avocado toast with poached eggs.
- Add optional toppings such as smoked salmon, red onion slices, fresh thyme, and red pepper flakes.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Customize with your favorite toppings. Can also add tomatoes, feta cheese, or hot sauce.
