Avocado Toast with Poached Eggs

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  2. Mash the avocados in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the mashed avocado evenly on each slice of toasted bread.
  4. Poach the eggs in simmering water until whites are set but yolks remain runny, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Top the avocado toast with poached eggs.
  6. Add optional toppings such as smoked salmon, red onion slices, fresh thyme, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

Customize with your favorite toppings. Can also add tomatoes, feta cheese, or hot sauce.
